After being erroneously mistaken for a man named George Kaplan, advertising executive Roger Thornhill (Cary Grant) is pursued across the country by spies and, after another case of misidentification, the police.
With daring scenes involving trains, planes, and the top of Mt Rushmore, North by Northwest was nominated for three Oscars and is widely considered one of Hitchcock’s greatest masterpieces.
