Funny, relatable and a little heartbreaking, Clockwatchers is a bittersweet comedy about menial drudgery and the tenuous camaraderie between worker drones. Iris (Toni Collette) drifts into a temporary office job at Global Credit and, snubbed by the full-time staff, finds herself with a motley new friendship group of fellow temps: aspiring actress Paula (Lisa Kudrow), wedding-fixated Jane (Alanna Ubach) and Margaret (Parker Posey), who's desperate to escape the indignities of temp-dom. When a series of mysterious thefts sets the office on edge the women's tentative alliance is threatened, forcing them to choose between job security and their loyalty to each other.
