Trailer & Synopsis
British naval commander Captain Jack Aubrey (Russell Crowe) faces a French privateer threatening British trade routes in the South Pacific during the Napoleonic Wars.
Peter Weir’s study of masculinity, duty and glory contrasts the brash and unapologetic leadership of ‘Lucky Jack’ with the philosophical and contemplative ship’s surgeon (Paul Bettany).
