From Giallo maestro Dario Argento, Suspiria is a gripping and gory little number. Arriving in the middle of a brutal storm, young American ballerina Suzy Bannion (Jessica Harper) sees and hears too much on the way to her new prestigious German dance academy, which sits just outside of the Black Forest. A ballerina has gone missing, there are weird footsteps at night, a creepy little boy dressed like Little Lord Fauntleroy is staring at you, and the grand dames of the school appear to have a witchy agenda beyond jetés and pliés.
