From director Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air) and producer Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters & Ghostbusters II), comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom (Carrie Coon) and her two kids (Mckenna Grace & Finn Wolfhard) are evicted from their NYC home, they travel to the small town of Summerville, Oklahoma. Upon arriving they move into a decaying farmhouse, left to the family by their late grandfather. A series of unexplained earthquakes and strange occurrences reveal something sinister lurking within an old mineshaft.
When the children discover their grandfather’s legacy and connection to the original ghostbusters, they take it upon themselves to deal with the supernatural phenomena. Stemming from the original Ghostbusters universe, Ghostbusters: Afterlife revives the psychomagnotheric slime, ghoulish ghosts, and a certain sweet and squishy friend from the past. This film is sure to please OG fans and newcomers alike.
