Vikaram is a happy go lucky guy, works as a RJ in FM studio Chennai. He is a guy who lives life as it comes. His father is on the lookout for a bride, and Vikram has a list of things he expects from the girl he wants to get married to, he believes love can be obtained by set of lists and checkboxes. Anjali is a Desi novelist. All her books were about love. She believes a life without love is useless. She hasn’t loved anyone till now though. She wants the guy who she might marry to have been in a relationship though. For, a guy who had been in a relationship will be mature and knows how to handle situations. Anjali believes she knows everything about love. Vikram meets Anjali, and feels she was the one he was expecting all this while. But, when Anjali asks Vikram if he had been love before, he tells a lie, to impress upon Anjali. Preethi, a theatre artist is that lie. Preethi wants to direct her own play. She believes she can choose when to fall in love, and life is a planned journey. She is survived by her younger brother, and her grandfather. Vikram tells a love story and takes Preethi’s help to fabricate that story of relationship between Vikram and preethi to impress Anjali further. But slowly Vikram falls for the lie he created. But Preethi doesn’t reciprocate Vikram’s feelings. There are two types of love in life. Love with Logic the one where we think about various factors and compatibility and go in to a relationship, which often proves to be stable and longstanding. Then, the other, Love with Magic, the kind where it slaps you across the face and too good to be believed, but volatile and uncertain. When Vikram gets to experience both of these, what will he do?
