The film follows an American woman Kristin (Collette) who unexpectedly inherits her grandfather’s mafia empire in Italy. From dressing as a librarian and having never seen The Godfather, with some guidance from the firm’s trusted consigliere (Bellucci), Kristin hilariously defies everyone’s expectations, including her own, as the new head of the family business.
Set in stunning locations across Italy, MAFIA MAMMA is a must-see mobster romp with electric comedic chemistry between Collette and Bellucci.
