The Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Prof. Dr. Balram Bhargava is a no nonsense, result oriented man and is incredibly tough to please. When the Coronavirus strikes China, he secretly assembles a team of the most capable virologists in the nation and sets out on a mission to make world's fastest indigenous vaccine, which everyone felt would fail miserably. A science editor, Rohini Singh Dhulia is hired to sabotage India's vaccine project by the powerful lobbies who don't want India to success for vested interests. Thus begins The Great Vaccine War between sinister lobbies and scientists comprising of mostly women tom between their household responsibilities and professional commitments. These scientists to make a choice - make the fastest indigenous vaccine against the coronavirus or submit to the gruesome demands of the enemy. The Vaccine War is India's first avant-garde science thriller, directed by the disruptive filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri with an ensemble cast of National Award winning actors who will overwhelm you with their tour-de-force performances.
