Trailer & Synopsis
Old Lin (played by Li Youbin), a retired backbone of a steel plant with mobility issues, despite leading a carefree retirement life, is a complete "unhappy" person. He meets Ma Teng (played by Lin Gengxin), a good-hearted person who knows a lot of useless knowledge but always achieves nothing, by chance during a caregiver interview, and they embark on a funny and amusing mutual rescue journey. Old Lin thought Ma Teng was a black nurse who "killed for money", hoping that he could help him get out of trouble and sign a "suicide assistance agreement". Ma Teng was naturally optimistic and interesting, but he always gave up halfway. He had the courage to seek wealth but had no intention of taking his life. He just wanted to earn some money to fulfill his daughter's small wish. During the brief time spent together and the special journey, the two established a life-and-death friendship, no longer fearing unknown illness and death, and found a tiny glimmer of hope to keep on living.
