Trailer & Synopsis
Eva Libertad’s moving debut follows Ángela, a deaf ceramist, and her hearing partner Héctor as they prepare for their first child. The couple live harmoniously as an inter-abled couple – but with a baby on the way, their status quo is shaken. Overwhelmed by doctors, childbirth, and advice, Ángela begins to question whether she and her child, if hearing, will ever understand one another. Rich in empathy and driven by inventive soundscape, this is a drama of tremendous compassion, about a woman fighting against invisibility.
