Synopsis
Kumari is a sensitive social drama centered on Isha, a young spoken-word poet in Kathmandu who is quietly battling deep psychological trauma from her past. As she navigates therapy, education, and artistic expression, Isha searches for stability and meaning in a society that often fails to understand emotional wounds. Her growing closeness with Prayag, a young fashion designer shaped by family expectations and social norms, brings both comfort and conflict. When emotional boundaries are crossed, buried memories resurface, forcing Isha to confront fear, trust, and her own limits. Through poetry, everyday encounters, and powerful symbolism, Kumari explores mental health, patriarchy, and personal agency, ultimately portraying a woman's journey toward self-respect, healing, and reclaiming her voice.
Kumari is showing in cinemas since February 12, 2026 to February 18, 2026
