Guided by mysterious strangers Natalie (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Teddy (Joe Pantoliano), Leonard continually questions who he can trust when he can’t even remember who he is at any given moment.

The humble puzzler that announced the vision of Christopher Nolan to the world, Memento holds up to this day as an ingenious little thriller that fully integrates its novel subject with a non-linear editing structure to explore a melange of philosophical problems pertaining to memory, truth, trust, identity and reality itself. Guy Pearce anchors this enigmatic character study with an earnest and thoroughly convincing performance – despite his character constantly forgetting, his bewilderment is never one-note and in-fact grows deeper and more tragic as we remember all the things he can’t.
